| YOUTH & CHILDREN CAMPS IMPACTING LIVES In late June, HLBC sent over 40 middle and high school students to Jonathan Creek Youth Camp at Kentucky Lake and over 30 children to Kids Camp in Bagdad, Ky. Both camps where a blast and provided a Christ centered experience that led to several students and children making a profession of faith to follow Jesus as Lord. Many other students made life transforming decisions to deepen their relationship with Christ. Stay tuned for more videos, photos and followup stories on how God is at work in our Youth and Children Ministries. LOUD - MacAurthur Park amazing response Love Loud on July 14th was a blast! HLBC set up a massive cookout at the MacAurthur Park Apartment's tennis courts. A large number of our neighbors at the apartment came out for some awesome grill out, corn hole, face painting and just hanging out with each other. It was our largest Block Party to date and we made many new friends. It was a great time. The Youth Drama team performed a very strong gospel centered drama and Jason Thomas presented the gospel message. The response was very encouraging. Every Wednesday night HLBC is gathering to go out into our community to share the love of Christ through random acts of kindness. We are serving our community through: Click here for more information...... TWO SHORT TERM HLBC MISSIONARIES ARRIVE IN THE FIELD HLBC sent out two missionaries this summer to the Pacific Rim. Two college students have successfully arrived in the field and are spending nine weeks working with two other career missionaries from HLBC (names witheld for security reasons). Their mission will be to reach people groups that have never heard the Gospel of Jesus. It's exciting to think that HLBC is 'on the edge' and being a part of God's mission around the globe.
